JB Wine Services ("JBWS," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit www.jbwineservices.com, contact us, request or book a tasting or consulting service, attend an event, or otherwise interact with us.

By using the website or providing personal information to us, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This policy applies to JBWS’s online and offline collection of personal information, but it does not apply to independent third parties that maintain their own privacy policies.

1. Who We Serve and Age Restrictions

JBWS provides wine education, private tasting experiences, corporate events, pairing experiences, and cellar-related consulting. Alcohol-inclusive services are intended only for adults who are at least 21 years old. The website is not directed to children under 18, and JBWS does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

2. Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with JBWS, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact and identity information. Name, email address, telephone number, billing address, and similar contact details.
  • Event and service information. Requested date, event location, guest count, budget, wine interests, service preferences, cellar information, accessibility needs, and dietary or allergy information voluntarily provided for event planning.
  • Communications. Messages, inquiries, feedback, survey responses, reviews, and records of communications with JBWS.
  • Transaction information. Services requested, invoices, payment status, refunds, and related transaction records. Payment card information is generally processed directly by a third-party payment provider and is not stored by JBWS in full.
  • Website and device information. Internet Protocol address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, dates and times of access, and similar technical or usage data.
  • Marketing preferences. Newsletter or promotional preferences, event interests, and interactions with marketing communications.
  • Photos, testimonials, and submitted content. Images, reviews, testimonials, or other content that you choose to provide or authorize JBWS to use.

JBWS does not sell personal information for money. We also do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. Website hosts, cloud-storage providers, email providers, scheduling tools, payment processors, accountants, insurers, analytics providers, and other vendors that support JBWS operations.
  • Event and booking partners. Venues, hosts, caterers, booking platforms, and other providers involved in delivering a requested service. JBWS shares only information reasonably necessary for coordination and performance.
  • Legal and safety matters. Government authorities, regulators, law enforcement, courts, insurers, professional advisors, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transactions. A buyer, successor, lender, or advisor in connection with a potential or completed merger, sale, financing, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of the business.
  • With your direction or consent. Other parties when you ask us to share information or provide permission.

JBWS does not seek to collect highly sensitive personal information. You may voluntarily provide dietary, allergy, accessibility, or similar information when it is relevant to an event. JBWS uses that information only as reasonably necessary to plan or deliver the requested service and may share it with an event provider when needed for that purpose.

The website or JBWS communications may link to third-party websites, venues, booking platforms, payment services, wineries, retailers, or social media services. JBWS does not control those parties’ privacy, security, or content practices. Review the privacy policy of each third party before providing information.
